Ceramics

My ceramic work largely focuses on femininity as it relates to domesticity. I have always been surrounded by very strong women who embrace the intricacies of domestic work, whilst maintaining utmost elegance and care. Meals are not simply to feed one's body, but an opportunity to nourish those you love in one beautiful collage of color, aroma, sound, taste, and atmosphere. A daily symphony plays out, and the loveliness of it is often lost in the toil.

I hope to uplift and celebrate the mundane in the same way the incredible females do in my life, whether by making ceramic baskets, or vases that have flowers built into their very being, I hope to lift up on a pedestal the true beauty that it is to be feminine.
